Key Takeaways

Beginning July 16, 2026, Liquid users can earn stablecoin yield on idle trading collateral through Liquid Earn, powered by Gauntlet USD Alpha (gtUSDa), Gauntlet’s flagship stablecoin yield vault.

Liquid is a non-custodial trading app aggregating liquidity across venues like Hyperliquid, giving its users access to perps, RWAs, and prediction markets from a single mobile-first interface. Its users hold trading collateral, primarily stablecoins, that sits idle between positions. Liquid Earn turns that idle collateral into productive capital without disrupting the trading workflow.

Gauntlet has been managing risk in DeFi since 2018, integrating with more than 150 fintechs and institutions and curating over $1.5B in supplied assets across its vaults. Gauntlet USD Alpha, built on Aera’s vault infrastructure, seeks the highest risk-adjusted yield on stablecoins.

Deployed on Arbitrum, and available from any major EVM chain, the strategy allocates to overcollateralized markets on top lending protocols, including Morpho. Gauntlet’s optimization engine uses quantitative, model-driven frameworks with human oversight to allocate capital across onchain markets and adjust positions as conditions change.

The integration is powered by the Gauntlet SDK: the Liquid team embedded the vault and shipped Earn in a matter of hours.

From July 16, Liquid users can:

  • Enable Earn on idle USDC directly in the Liquid app.
  • Earn auto-compounded yield, with rebalancing, reward redemption, and gas handled by the strategy.
  • Move capital back into trading positions whenever needed.
  • Retain full custody of their funds, with allocations verifiable onchain at any time.
